I noticed after a few days Boo has an extra branch on one gill. Yoshi needs a bit of feeding up. He's my newest. Fraggle loves her balcony!

Little loves!... I've been searching high and low for a floating platform..days scouring the internet and now I see I could get one from asda..so I'm about to trot ( well amble) off to get a stick on 'shelf'. Many many thanks for your insperation.!

mine came from tesco. i got a couple as this one is gradually going rusty so a plastic one would work better. im looking for one like that at the moment.

Great looking axies Shelly.
They look in fit shape. And you seem to have a nice setup there too.
Keep up the great work.

cute axies and the names are fab too I never thought about using one of those for a self good idea I am going to keep an eye out for a plastic version now.

thank you :)

when i move later in the year they are getting a delux upgrade to a 4 foot tank.

the shelf caused some panic the first few times fraggle found herself there by accident but after few escapes from the horrible thing she has chilled out about it and swims up there and squeeses herself through the gap or drops on from the top. i will know when she gets to fat when she gets stuck.

boo hasnt been up there that i know of. yoshi has. he was gobsmacked when he saw fraggle up there. just stood underneath watching for about 20 mins the first time he relised where she was (he cant close his mouth so stood there with it hanging open lol) and then had to try it for himself. dont think he was that impressed though

Kia Ora Cool pics and great looking axies

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
