20-long tank housing Triturus. To make this tank, I used aquarium silicone to insert a piece of glass. However, I later decided that the water volume was too small. Also, the land side tended to become flooded by wicking and it was very difficult to get the water back out. |
I remodeled the tank above with water on both sides. There is a submersible filter that pumps the water from the shallow side to the deep side, then the water cascades over the divider. |
