Wow Sharon, it all looks amazing! ..but what is this called? Looks like a dish full of toasted marshmallows, yum! ..although how do yams go with marshmallow :S
4 cans of yams - juice drained from 3 cans, half a bag of brown sugar, generous sprinkle of cinnamon, dash of nutmeg, maybe ground cloves too - bake until liquid bubbles @350F, remove yams from oven, drain off most of the juice then top with a bag & a half of marshmallows... lol its better than it looks even!
This looks awesome....is it a dessert though?!?! Never tried yams, to my knowledge you don't really get them in the UK...but I was under the impression that they were a little like sweet potato....have I made that up in my own head? x
