Yeah our high valley gets snow nearly every year. Usually it dosn't long and usually its barely enough to tint the ground white. But that year - wow oh wow!! We hit the mountains for some fun. 3 hours of driving = 15 minutes of fun - when my son fell over an embankment and broke his arm! LOL. The birds have heated nest boxes. We offer them the option of feeding in the boxes but they don't really like that. THAT day the male came out to eat and took food back to the female.
