Here is my outdoor setup for local amphibians. I get some cooling effect from evaporation and shading with bonzai hardwood trees. It's still too warm for the local stream caudates, I had to return a northern red salamander and a two-lined to their native. The spotted salamander, spring peeper and wood frog larvae have done well.
